I am asked over and over how I produce these sketches and I have been told that my clients are asked as well. I have developed this art technique over many years. I DO NOT use a Photoshop plug-in or auto-filter or a Corel Painter Cloning tool. I do use a computer, I do use a WACOM tablet and the works ARE hand done. I touch every inch of these sketches with my WACOM pencils several times before I go to print. The finished sketch is like a Giclee print of a wet medial work. The computer helps me speed up the process. But even at that, it normally takes me a couple of hours (minimum) to do an 8x10 sketch of a single subject. Yes, I do it because I love it, not to get rich! Many sketches require that I use some pastel pencil or colored pencil work after the print is completed....

I also do pastel portraits, colored pencil sketches, conte drawings and a few other mediums. These works of art usually start at $350.00. They are created by hand with media that is much more fragile and they are much more time consuming.

Flat pricing is somewhat difficult to do given the diversity in what people want sketched. It's not just about size... Are there multiple subjects? Are these multiple subjects contained in one photograph or different ones? How many subject are there? Are the subjects from old family photos? etc... I have tried to address this in our pricing but there are exceptions that arise from time to time.
